my gift for ikel89's secret santa had been waiting for me to return to varna, and we've finally reunited, and it was AMAZING. my apparent secret santa, wonderful alorarose, read all my heart's desires and sent me:

watercolor pencils! a beautiful skethbook and a beautiful watercolor sketchbook! a gorgeous summer scarf! and a pack of cat toys my cats immediately went nuts over, GOOD CHOICE. it was like the very last drop of general holiday goodness, and it cheered me up to no end and i can't wait to play around with the art supplies, awwww.

I have one of those things for my cat, and she's nuts for it.

marusya had already torn half the feathers from it but they're both agog. and even martha played with the small crinkly things for hours, though usually she's Cat Not Deigning To Play With Shit.

I am definitely checking out those cat toys, because my cat is very picky and anything that cats actually play with is immediately intriguing to me.
