the author did some q&as on goodreads, and my takeaway points are: there will be NINE books (three on secrets that rune hides from the reader, three on secrets that are hidden from rune, three on general BOOM), already tightly outlined; the second book got delayed because it grew longer than planned; and brand is the most important person in rune's life, despite whatever other relationships rune forms :D
